Rachel Lewis
Resident Care Director
Rachel was born and raised in Rochester NY. She relocated to Pennsylvania in February 2024. Rachel has worked in the healthcare field for 24 years. She started out as a Med Tech working with individuals with developmental disabilities. She went on to earn her Practical Nurse License. Through the years, Rachel has worked as a Compliance Nurse in Home Care, a Nurse Manager in Skilled/Rehab and most recently as a Resident Care Manager for an Assisted Living/Memory care community in New York. She is passionate about working with aging seniors managing their health and safety needs. In her free time she enjoys house plants and traveling.
Patrick Halko
Director of Facilities
Pat is a graduate of Johnson Technical Trade School who has achieved success in the field of Maintenance Management. His responsibilities include housekeeping, laundry, and maintenance. Pat’s focus is on being a teaching, hands-on manager. He has been a vital part of the Traditions of Lansdale Team for the last 9 years. Pat’s greatest love is working to make our resident lives as comfortable as possible.
Juleck Beaudouin
Wellness Supervisor
Juleck discovered her passion for the elderly while taking care of her great aunt, who was diagnosed with dementia. Her curiosity and passion pushed her to get a job at an assistant living facility, where she started working as a part-time caregiver in 2012.
Being in this industry has also inspired her to obtain her degree in Hospitality Management. She has worked in multiple positions in the assistant living industry, from Activity Coordinator to Food Service Coordinator. Juleck understands transitioning into a new community can be intimidating, so she has dedicated her life to ensuring your loved ones receive the best care possible. Juleck has a serving heart. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, traveling, and spending time with her husband and two cats, Niko and Ziggy.
LaVerne Riley-Sumner
Memory Care Director
LaVerne Riley-Sumner was born and raised in Philadelphia. She has been working in healthcare for over 15 years. She specializes in dementia care and is a certified dementia trainer. She has formal training with Teepa Snow's program and takes the time to educate families on their loved ones' journey through dementia and Alzheimer's. LaVerne is passionate about her work and takes great pride in caring for her residents who need memory support.
Calvin Taylor
Chef
Calvin joins our team with numerous years of experience within Senior living communities, skilled nursing centers, hotels, and restaurants, managing and preparing From Scratch meals that are healthy, hearty, and delicious. Calvin is formally trained at the Restaurant School at Walnut Hill College, and has travelled to France to train in French cuisines. Calvin is also a lover of baseball and ALL of the Philadelphia teams! "I look forward to developing menus and dining experiences that cater to our seniors, and I am happy to do so because I'm able to see the smiles on their faces". Calvin is excited to invite you to his dining room for a home-cooked meal soon!
Sherry Cain
Resident Life Director
Sherry started her health career over 20 years ago as an CNA in a skilled nursing center. After she had children, she switched gears and has enjoyed assisting in Resident life with planning Activities for her residents. After ten years in skilled care, she moved on to working with individuals with memory concerns. She has numerous years of experience with Dementia and Alzheimer's. Sherry is also a Certified Dementia Practitioner. Sherry has joined the Traditions of Lansdale, as the Resident Life Director. She comes with many years of activity experience. She hopes to bring her knowledge to the residents and have fun filled days. While not working, she enjoys time with her family and reading. She looks forward to meeting you!
